No - please do not bring your cat to the cafe.
No children ages 6 and under. Kids ages 7 to 13 must have an adult present with them at all times. For ages 14 -17 an adult signature is required. For more information, visit our Rules & Policies page.
Yes, there is a $15 per person fee to enter and enjoy the cat lounge for 50 minutes. Click here to book your spot!
Making a reservation is highly recommended! It guarantees time with the cats and its the same price in person! We will accept walk-ins if we have space in the cat room. Click here to reserve!
Yes, cleanliness is a cornerstone of our operation. It is important to note our kitchen and café area is completely separate from the cat lounge and never comes into contact with our animal friends. In the cat lounge- the goal is for our customers to never know litterboxes are around! They will be kept in a separate room that is employees (and cats) only.

Nope! We are an independent small business that is Kansas born and raised!
While one of our main goals is to help cats find their forever homes, Snick's is also a place for people to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and spend time with cats. You don't have to be in the market to adopt to enjoy our coffeeshop, boutique, or cat lounge!
Approximately 12 to 15 however, it may be lower if adoption rates are higher!
NO- Please do not drop off stray or owned cats at or outside the café. Due to our licensing through the Kansas Department of Agriculture, we're unable to shelter stray animals.
For assistance with stray cats, we recommend reaching out to Wichita Animal Services.
If you are needing to surrender your cat to an organization, please contact WAAL directly for resources and advice.
To protect the well-being and comfort of our cats, we have guidelines in place for interacting with them. While visitors are encouraged to pet and play with the cats, we ask that they do not pick up the cats unless a cat initiates or clearly enjoys the interaction.

Our cats are carefully selected based on their sociability and comfort with other cats and people. In the case a cat does not thrive in the café environment, we will work closely with the Wichita Animal Action League to find a suitable environment while they await adoption.
When you enter the cafe you will be able to enjoy viewing the cats and cat lounge through large windows. Because there is a separation between the cat lounge and the coffeeshop people with allergies should have no problems hanging out, drinking coffee, and shopping in the boutique!
We do not allow outside food or drinks in the building, including the Cat Lounge. However, any food or beverages purchased at Snick's are welcome in the Cat Lounge. This policy helps us maintain a clean, safe environment for our guests and cats. Thank you for your understanding!
The health of our cats is paramount. Before the cats come to the cafe they have all been vaccinated, checked by veterinarians, and spayed or neutered through our rescue partner WAAL and a network of veterinarians.

Cat Lounge Guidelines
Clean Hands: Please sanitize your hands before and after spending time with our cats to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Hands-Off Policy: Avoid picking up the cats; they prefer approaching you on their own terms. Let them lead the way to snuggles!
Food and Drink Awareness: Keep an eye on your food and drinks—our cats are curious but don’t have the stomach for human snacks. No sharing with our furry friends, please.
Quiet Zone: Keep phones on silent and flash off for photos. Our cats and fellow guests appreciate a peaceful atmosphere.
Gentle Voices: Speak softly and move calmly to create a serene environment for everyone.
Let Sleeping Cats Lie: If a cat is napping, please don’t disturb them. Rest is key to keeping them happy and playful.
Adult Supervision: Children under 12 need to be with an adult at all times. Let’s make sure everyone stays safe.
Respect the Cat Furniture: Please avoid climbing or sitting on furniture meant for the cats.
Positive Vibes Only: We kindly ask that guests showing signs of intoxication save their visit for another time.
Photos: Feel free to snap as many photos as you’d like, just without flash. Let’s keep it comfortable for the cats.
Help Us Stay Tidy: Please throw away any trash before leaving the cat lounge to keep it welcoming for everyone.
Enjoy and Relax: This is a space for relaxation and joy—for you and the cats. Let’s keep it that way!
Important Notes
Allergy Notice: Please enter at your own risk; we aren’t responsible for any allergic reactions.
Coffee and Cats Don’t Mix: Keep your drinks out of reach. Cats don’t need caffeine!
Watch Your Drink: If a cat takes an interest in your beverage, we won’t be able to replace it.
