If you were lucky enough to catch the magic of Skrunch Fest this year at Snick’s Cat Café, then you already know… it was something special.

Whether you came for the cats, the vibes, the drinks, or the Skrunch himself, you were part of a day full of joy, laughter.

🐱 But First… Who Is Skrunch?


For the uninitiated: Skrunch is one of our most iconic (and let’s be real, dramatic) residents. A tabby cat with a big personality and a permanent look of mild disapproval, Skrunch has won the hearts of guests and staff alike. He's the kind of cat that makes you feel like you're being judged — and honestly, you probably are.

So naturally, we threw him his own festival for his birthday. As one does.

🎉 What Went Down at Skrunch Fest


Skrunch Fest was our first-ever themed celebration and y’all showed up and showed out. Highlights included:

  • 💅 A pop-up nail art station with cat-themed decals (Skrunch head, anyone?)

  • ☕️ Limited-edition Skrunch-themed drinks (the “Skruncho Macchiato” was a hit)

  • 📸 A photo booth with ridiculous cat props (and yes, Skrunch stickers)

  • 🛍 A boutique table stocked with exclusive Skrunch merch

  • 😻 Cat lounge time with Skrunch and his feline entourage — featuring Skrunch himself being indifferent to all the attention

We also had walk-in specials and giveaways, and it was such a joy seeing both new faces and our loyal regulars come through.

❤️ Why We Made Skrunch Fest


Beyond being a lighthearted celebration of our sassiest resident, Skrunch Fest was about something bigger: creating a space where people could come together to celebrate community, cats, and creativity. That’s always been part of Snick’s DNA.

Seeing guests connect over shared laughs, cat stories, and favorite drinks reminded us why we built this place. And Skrunch? Well, he reminded us to stay humble. Or else.

We’re already dreaming up the next café event — and who knows, maybe Skrunch Fest becomes an annual tradition?
